Subaru 6 speed transmissions are quite durable and so are their clutches but when you start to add power and the clutch has a few miles on it you will see the performance deteriorate quite rapidly.

In this case the clutch was worn down to the rivets that secure the friction to the disc which ended up scoring the flywheel and pressure plate. You can also see the hot spots in both of those pieces.

Their are a few OE style clutch options we recommend depending on the power levels of the car. Our goal is to match engine torque and the clutch capabilities so the lifespan of the clutch is greater than a few miles.
