Ford Brake Services

Inspect the system before replacing parts.

Brake symptoms can have more than one cause. We assess friction material, rotors, calipers and relevant hydraulic or electronic components before recommending work.

Brake Pads & Rotors

Measure pad wear and check rotor condition, thickness and wear patterns. Recommend replacement or other appropriate work based on the inspection.

Calipers, Sliders & Hardware

Investigate sticking brakes, uneven pad wear and damaged hardware. Check caliper operation and related components rather than replacing friction parts alone.

Brake Fluid & Hydraulics

Assess fluid condition and inspect relevant hoses, lines and hydraulic components when pedal feel changes or a leak is suspected.

ABS & Stability Control

Investigate warning lights and relevant fault information. A sensor, wiring, wheel-bearing assembly or another system component may need testing.

Parking Brakes

Inspect and repair mechanical or electronic parking-brake systems on applicable models, using the service procedures and tooling the system requires.

Hybrid & Electric Ford Brakes

Inspect conventional friction brakes alongside the vehicle's regenerative-braking concerns. We confirm the tooling and software access needed for the job.

Brake Symptoms

Describe what you hear, feel or see.

Grinding or scraping noises
Persistent squealing or squeaking
Pedal or steering-wheel vibration when braking
Soft pedal or increased pedal travel
Pulling while braking
ABS, brake or stability-control warning
Uneven brake-pad wear or suspected dragging
Parking brake that will not apply or release

Vibration or pulling can also involve tires, hubs, bearings, steering or suspension. The inspection helps determine which system needs attention.

If braking is reduced, the pedal sinks or fluid is leaking, avoid driving and call us to discuss safe transport.

Different Ford Applications

Match the service to the vehicle and its use.

F-150, Super Duty, Ranger & Maverick

Towing, hauling and work use can increase braking demand. Tell us about trailer use, larger tires or modifications when booking so we can assess the truck's setup.

Ford Truck Brake Service →

Ford Hybrids, Lightning & Mach-E

Regenerative braking does not eliminate friction-brake maintenance. We inspect for wear, corrosion and binding, and assess braking concerns according to the vehicle's system.

Ford Brake FAQ

Questions before booking.

Does this service cover Ford cars and SUVs as well as trucks?

Yes. We service brake systems on Ford cars, SUVs, trucks, hybrids and EVs. The vehicle's year, configuration and required tooling determine the service approach.

Do brake pads and rotors always need replacing together?

We measure and inspect the components before making a recommendation. Rotor condition and remaining thickness, pad wear and the cause of the concern determine the appropriate repair.

Can you investigate an ABS or stability-control light?

Yes. We review fault information and carry out relevant testing. A warning light does not identify a failed part by itself.

Do Ford hybrids and EVs still need brake service?

Yes. They still have conventional friction brakes that require inspection. Regenerative braking can reduce friction-brake use, but corrosion, binding and other wear concerns remain possible.

Can you inspect brakes on a Ford used for towing?

Yes. Tell us about your vehicle, trailer use and any modifications when booking. We assess the braking system and discuss parts suited to the application.
