Signs You May Need an Alignment

When the vehicle stops tracking the way it should.

Alignment affects steering feel, tire wear and how confidently the vehicle tracks down the road. If something has changed, it is worth checking before the tires pay the price.

Our Alignment Process

Check the vehicle first. Adjust it second.

01 — PRE-ALIGNMENT CHECK

Make sure it can hold an alignment.

Loose, worn or seized steering and suspension parts can prevent accurate adjustment.

02 — MEASURE & ADJUST

Measure the actual geometry.

We measure the vehicle and make the available adjustments for its setup.

03 — EXPLAIN THE RESULT

Clear information before you leave.

If something limits adjustment or more repair is needed, we explain what was found.

Pre-Alignment Inspection

An alignment cannot fix worn steering or suspension parts.

We inspect first because there is little value in adjusting a vehicle that cannot hold the settings. This is especially important on older, restored, lifted, lowered or heavily modified vehicles.

✓Ball joints, tie rods, control arms, bushings and wheel bearings must be serviceable.
✓Seized or damaged adjustment hardware may require repair before final settings can be achieved.
✓Lifted, lowered and restored vehicles should arrive with known suspension work completed and fasteners checked.
✓If the vehicle fails inspection, inspection time may still be chargeable because technician time has been invested.

Jeep Wheel Alignment FAQ

Before you book your Jeep.

When should I have my Jeep’s alignment checked?

Tell us if you notice uneven tire wear, a steering wheel that sits off-centre, pulling or a change in handling. Also mention recent suspension repairs, ride-height changes or a curb impact.

Can you align a lifted Jeep?

Yes. Tell us about springs, coilovers, adjustable arms and wheel or tire changes before booking. Available adjustments and the condition of the suspension determine what can be achieved.

Will an alignment fix a worn suspension component?

No. We inspect relevant steering and suspension components first. Worn or seized parts may need attention before the vehicle can be adjusted accurately.

Can I get a price before the appointment?

Send your Jeep’s year, model and modifications. Our advisors can explain the applicable alignment and inspection charges. Additional parts, repairs or adjustment work are discussed before proceeding.
