Sprinter Wheel Alignment FAQ
1. How often should a Sprinter van get a wheel alignment?
Every 12 months or 20,000 km, or sooner if you notice pulling, uneven wear, or have changed suspension components.
2. Do lifted or camper-converted Sprinters need special alignment settings?
Yes. Added weight and modified suspension require custom specs for safe, accurate handling.
3. How long does a Sprinter alignment take?
Typically 60–90 minutes, depending on condition and any seized or worn components.
4. Can bad alignment damage my Sprinter?
Absolutely. Poor alignment causes rapid tire wear, poor steering control, and increased strain on suspension components.
5. Are Sprinter vans harder to align than regular vehicles?
Yes—due to size, wheelbase, load changes, and commercial suspension design. That’s why you need a specialist, not a general shop.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
