Why Sprinter Van Wheel Alignment Matters
Sprinters have a tall center of gravity, heavy payload capacity, and commercial-grade suspension, which means proper alignment is crucial for:
-
Extending tire life
-
Improving highway stability
-
Preventing premature suspension wear
-
Better fuel economy
-
Safer handling when loaded or towing
A misaligned Sprinter can cost a business thousands in tires, downtime, and unexpected repairs.

Sprinter Alignment FAQ
1. How often should a Sprinter van get a wheel alignment?
Every 12 months or 20,000 km, or sooner if you notice uneven tire wear, pulling, or after replacing suspension components.
2. Do you align lifted or camper-converted Sprinter vans?
Yes — we specialize in custom alignment specs, including lifted, off-road, and RV/camper Sprinters.
3. Can a bad alignment damage a Sprinter’s suspension?
Absolutely. Poor alignment causes premature wear on tires, ball joints, tie rods, and control arm bushings.
4. How long does a Sprinter alignment take?
Typically 60–90 minutes, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.
5. Do you service all Sprinter models?
Yes — Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Dodge Sprinters in all trims, wheelbases, and roof heights.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
