What’s different about Tesla brake service?
Tesla vehicles use regenerative braking, so pads wear slower—but rotors can corrode from lack of use. We inspect both systems carefully.
How often should I service Tesla brakes?
We recommend having your Tesla’s brakes inspected at least once a year or every 20,000 km, even if no warning lights appear.
Can I replace just the pads or do I need new rotors too?
In many cases, corrosion affects the rotors more than the pads. We assess both during inspection and only recommend what’s necessary.
Is your shop Tesla-certified?
While we’re not a Tesla dealer, our techs are Red Seal-certified and trained to service EVs with OEM-level tools and procedures.
Do you offer warranty on brake repairs?
Yes. All Tesla brake services at Dale’s Auto include a comprehensive warranty on parts and labor.
