Toyota Brake Service FAQ

1) How often should Toyota brake pads be replaced?
It depends on driving style and conditions; many see 40,000–80,000 km. We’ll measure pad thickness and rotor condition to recommend the safest, most cost-effective option.

2) Do I need to replace rotors with pads?
If rotors are below spec, heat-checked, or causing pulsation, replacement is best. Otherwise, machining is sometimes possible—our measurements guide the call.

3) Can old brake fluid affect performance?
Yes. Moisture lowers the boiling point and can corrode components. We recommend testing fluid and replacing it about every 2–3 years or per condition.

4) My steering wheel shakes when braking—what’s wrong?
Usually rotor thickness variation or runout. We’ll measure hubs/rotors, correct surfaces, and torque wheels properly to eliminate the shake.

5) Do you service ABS/ESC lights on Toyotas?
Absolutely. We scan the system, test wheel speed sensors, tone rings, wiring, and hydraulics to pinpoint the fault and repair it properly.
