I have had repeated problems with the DEF system . I went looking for a service center where I could have a conversation about my vehicle with an informed person at the front desk. I found it at Dales.

I waited a year to see if there would be problems with a timing belt kit install on a Sequoia. There are none and the Truck runs great, that s why I gave 5 Stars. I would go back.

  Excellent service.

They’re very professional and would always recommend them, the diagnosis was accurate and fast.
It was a transmission failure therefore I needed a replacement, which they delivered at a timely manner, despite the amount of work involved.

Great work and quality.

Yesterday morning as I prepared to leave my home, my car sputtered to start. I drove to Dale's and thankfully my car could get booked in to check the source of the problem. Within 15 minutes, I was called to advise me that I needed a new battery. Within two hours my car was ready for pickup. I have been a customer for many years and I have always received friendly, informed and timely service.

Pricing depends on the level of testing required. We provide clear, upfront pricing before any work is done.

3. Can Dale’s Auto Service diagnose all makes & models?

Yes. We service all makes and models, including European, domestic, import, hybrid, and EV-friendly vehicles.

4. Can I get same-day service in Walnut Grove?

In most cases, yes. Call 604-530-9160 for immediate availability.

5. Will the Check Engine Light turn off after repair?

Yes. Once the underlying issue is repaired, we reset the light and verify the system is functioning correctly.

Check engine light repair dales auto service

Dealer Warranty

All modern vehicles are equipped with an onboard diagnostic system (OBD-II) that constantly monitors key systems—especially the powertrain, which includes the engine and transmission.

This system ensures your vehicle runs efficiently while minimizing emissions. As fuel economy and emissions technology have become more advanced, your vehicle’s electronics now continuously adjust performance based on driving conditions.

If any readings fall outside of the normal range, the check engine light will turn on. That’s your signal to visit Dale’s Auto Service, where we’ll scan the fault codes, provide a clear estimate, and carry out the necessary repairs to get you safely back on the road.

DALE’S USES ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY TO DIAGNOSE YOUR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT
