What are mud-terrain tires designed for?
Mud-terrain tires use aggressive tread blocks and larger voids to improve traction on mud, loose dirt, gravel and difficult off-road surfaces.
Are mud-terrain tires noisy on the highway?
They are generally louder than highway and all-terrain tires. Noise varies between models, tread design and tire size.
Can I install larger mud tires on my truck?
Possibly. Tire size needs to be checked against wheel width, wheel offset, suspension height, steering clearance and body clearance before ordering.
Should I get an alignment with larger M/T tires?
Alignment is especially important on lifted or modified trucks. Incorrect geometry can quickly create irregular wear on an expensive set of mud-terrain tires.
Can Dale's inspect my lift and suspension?
