BMW Wheel Alignment FAQ

1) How often should I align my BMW?
At least once a year or every 20,000 km, and anytime after suspension/steering work, new tires, or pothole/curb impacts.

2) Do you align BMW electric vehicles (i3, i4, i7, iX)?
Yes. We follow EV-safe procedures and BMW specifications to protect range, tire life, and high-voltage components.

3) Can you set custom specs for lowered or track-prepped BMWs?
Absolutely. We provide custom camber/caster/toe for street, spirited driving, or track days, with a printout of final specs.

4) Will an alignment fix vibration or pulling?
If the cause is incorrect toe/camber or thrust angle, yes. If not, we’ll inspect for bent wheels, tire defects, bearings, or bushings and advise next steps.

5) How long does a BMW alignment take?
Most alignments are completed same-day depending on seized hardware or required suspension adjustments. You’ll get timing upfront.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:

Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:

  • Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
  • Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
  • Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
  • Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
  • Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
  • The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
  • If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
  • We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection

Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.

Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.

Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
