BMW Wheel Alignment FAQ
1) How often should my BMW get a wheel alignment?
Every 12 months or 15,000–20,000 km, and anytime you install tires, hit a pothole/curb, or replace suspension parts.
2) Can you align lowered or coilover BMWs to custom specs?
Yes. We’ll target your preferred camber/toe for daily, canyon, or track use—within safe ranges to protect tires and stability.
3) Do you align BMW EVs and hybrids (i3, i4, iX, etc.)?
Absolutely. We align EVs with attention to weight distribution, range efficiency, and tire wear; we coordinate ADAS calibrations when needed.
4) What if my BMW needs special hardware to reach spec?
If factory adjustment range isn’t enough, we’ll recommend camber bolts/arms or bushings and explain pros/cons and costs before proceeding.
5) How long does a BMW alignment take?
Typical alignments take ~1–2 hours. Add time for seized hardware, suspension repairs, or custom setups.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
