JDM Wheel Alignment FAQ
Do I need an alignment after lowering my JDM car?
Yes. Any change in ride height alters camber and toe. An immediate alignment prevents rapid tire wear and poor handling.
Can you align cars with coilovers, camber plates, or adjustable arms?
Absolutely. We set plate/arm baseline, then fine-tune camber, caster (where adjustable), and toe to your goals.
What specs do you recommend for street vs. track?
Street: conservative camber with near-zero toe for tire life. Track/autocross: more negative camber and slight toe adjustments for grip. We tailor to your use and tire choice.
How long does a JDM alignment take?
Plan for ~1.0–1.5 hours for inspection and adjustments; more if hardware is seized or parts need install.
What if my factory adjusters can’t reach the target specs?
We’ll recommend camber bolts, plates, or adjustable arms and can supply/install them to achieve optimal geometry.

Ready for a Wheel Alignment?
Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
