Honda Wheel Alignment FAQ
Q: How often should I align my Honda?
A: Check annually or every 20,000–25,000 km, and any time after new tires, suspension/steering work, or a hard pothole/curb impact.
Q: Do new tires require an alignment?
A: It’s strongly recommended. Proper angles protect your tire investment and ensure even wear from day one.
Q: My steering wheel is crooked—do I just need an alignment?
A: Usually yes, but we’ll first inspect for worn or bent components. If parts are loose, we’ll fix those so the alignment holds.
Q: Will an alignment fix highway drift or lane-assist warnings?
A: Often. Correct angles help stability and can reduce ADAS complaints. We’ll advise if your model needs an ADAS calibration check.
Q: How long does a Honda alignment take?
A: Typically 60–90 minutes if hardware is free and adjustable. Extra time may be needed if parts are seized or worn.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
