Land Rover Alignment FAQ
1) How much does a Land Rover wheel alignment cost?
Pricing depends on model, trim, and suspension condition. We’ll inspect first and provide a clear quote. If parts are worn, we’ll show photos before any work.
2) How often should I align my Land Rover?
Check annually or every 20,000–25,000 km, and any time you install new tires, feel pulling, or after suspension/steering repairs.
3) Do I need 4-wheel alignment or just front?
Modern Land Rover platforms require full 4-wheel alignment to set thrust angle and ensure proper steering geometry and tire life.
4) I have air-suspension—anything special?
Yes. We verify ride height, calibrate as needed, then align at the correct height. Mis-set heights = inaccurate alignment and uneven wear.
5) How long does alignment take?
Typically 60–90 minutes if no parts are seized or worn. If components are worn (bushings, control arms, tie rods), we’ll discuss options first.

Is Your Vehicle Ready for a Wheel alignment?
Pre-alignment expectations:
If the car has been worked on by you or another facility make sure:
- make sure the condition of the steering and suspension are safe and in proper working condition.
- the front tie rods are not seized. They are quite inexpensive and we will not use heat to free them up.
- ball joints, bushings, tie rods are not worn- no play/wear
- bearings are not loose or worn
- no leaking struts/shocks
- steering box is not worn- minor play allowed
- tires are safe
- the car has to be able to run under its own power
- if the vehicle was restored, make sure the facility/person has double checked their work. We do not have time to do this if the vehicle is only in for an alignment. Please book the vehicle in for a steering/suspension re-torque if you do not know if it has been done. We will then proceed with the wheel alignment.
If the car comes in for an alignment and it passes our inspection of the components above we will proceed.
If anything fails we do charge for an inspection since it takes our technician time to do this. We do not want to waste your time and money because these things were not looked at.
If you do not know the condition of these components please ask for a steering and suspension inspection when booking then if everything is fine we will proceed with the wheel alignment.
We are very in depth with our steering/suspension inspections and we will not turn a “blind eye” to any suspension issues since we are liable to any future issues.
Thanks for understanding and hope to see you soon!
