Wheel Alignment FAQ
1. How often should my Lexus get a wheel alignment?
Typically once a year or every 20,000–25,000 km. Sooner if you hit potholes, curbs, or notice handling issues.
2. Can misalignment damage my Lexus?
Yes — it can cause accelerated tire wear, poor fuel economy, premature suspension wear, and unsafe handling.
3. Do I need an alignment after suspension repairs?
Absolutely. Any change to ball joints, tie rods, control arms, springs, or struts requires immediate alignment.
4. Will an alignment improve my Lexus’ fuel economy?
Yes — proper toe and camber reduce rolling resistance, saving fuel and extending tire life.
5. Can you set custom performance alignment specs?
Yes. Many Lexus F-Sport and lowered vehicles benefit from custom geometry for sharper handling.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
