Lowered Vehicle Wheel Alignment in Richmond
Precision Custom Alignment for Modified, Lowered & Performance Cars
When it comes to lowered vehicles, alignment matters more than anything. A standard “set-to-factory-spec” job simply doesn’t work for modified suspension geometry, aggressive camber, coilovers, air suspension, or custom wheel/tire setups.
At Dale’s Auto Service — the best auto service shop in the Lower Mainland, our alignment specialist Jeff has over 20+ years of hands-on experience. He is known across Richmond and the Lower Mainland as the Best Mechanic Near You for custom and lowered vehicle wheel alignment on all makes and models, including:
-
JDM builds
-
Euro performance vehicles
-
Slammed trucks
-
Coilover & air suspension setups
-
Stance, track, drift, and show vehicles
Jeff is not just a technician who can “do” an alignment — he is a wheel alignment specialist. There is a difference.
We won’t steer you wrong!

Lowered Vehicle Alignment FAQ
1. Do lowered vehicles require a special wheel alignment?
Yes. Lowering changes suspension geometry, making a standard factory-spec alignment incorrect. A specialist must set custom toe, camber, and caster values.
2. Can Dale’s Auto Service align cars with coilovers or air suspension?
Absolutely. We specialize in coilovers, air ride, camber kits, adjustable arms, and aggressive fitment setups.
3. Will a proper alignment prevent tire wear on a lowered vehicle?
Yes. Correct custom alignment dramatically reduces inner tire wear and improves handling, stability, and safety.
4. Can I request specific camber or performance alignment specs?
Yes. Bring your preferred spec sheet, or we can recommend ideal values based on your driving style and setup.
5. Do you align all makes and models, including JDM and Euro cars?
Yes. We service all makes & models — Subaru, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus, VW, Tesla, and more.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
