Nissan Alignment FAQ
1. How often should I get my Nissan wheel alignment done?
Every 12 months or 15,000–20,000 km, or sooner if you notice pulling, uneven tire wear, or steering issues.
2. What happens if I drive with a bad wheel alignment?
Misalignment causes premature tire wear, poor fuel economy, unsafe handling, and potential suspension damage.
3. Do you use OEM specifications for Nissan vehicles?
Yes — our Hunter alignment systems correct all angles to exact Nissan factory specs unless a custom setup is requested.
4. Can Dale’s align modified or lifted Nissan trucks?
Absolutely. We specialize in lifted/lowered trucks like Frontier, Titan, Xterra, and Armada with custom suspension.
5. How long does a Nissan wheel alignment take?
Typically 45–60 minutes, including a suspension check and detailed alignment report.

Is Your Vehicle Ready for a Wheel alignment?
Pre-alignment expectations:
If the car has been worked on by you or another facility make sure:
- make sure the condition of the steering and suspension are safe and in proper working condition.
- the front tie rods are not seized. They are quite inexpensive and we will not use heat to free them up.
- ball joints, bushings, tie rods are not worn- no play/wear
- bearings are not loose or worn
- no leaking struts/shocks
- steering box is not worn- minor play allowed
- tires are safe
- the car has to be able to run under its own power
- if the vehicle was restored, make sure the facility/person has double checked their work. We do not have time to do this if the vehicle is only in for an alignment. Please book the vehicle in for a steering/suspension re-torque if you do not know if it has been done. We will then proceed with the wheel alignment.
If the car comes in for an alignment and it passes our inspection of the components above we will proceed.
If anything fails we do charge for an inspection since it takes our technician time to do this. We do not want to waste your time and money because these things were not looked at.
If you do not know the condition of these components please ask for a steering and suspension inspection when booking then if everything is fine we will proceed with the wheel alignment.
We are very in depth with our steering/suspension inspections and we will not turn a “blind eye” to any suspension issues since we are liable to any future issues.
Thanks for understanding and hope to see you soon!
