JDM Wheel Alignment FAQ

Do I need an alignment after coilovers or lowering springs?
Yes. Any ride-height change alters camber/toe; skipping alignment causes pull and rapid tire wear.

Can you align RHD imports with aftermarket arms?
Absolutely. We routinely align RHD JDM cars with adjustable camber/toe arms and pillow-ball mounts.

What specs should I run for a daily-driven JDM car?
We tailor specs to your goals, but a mild negative camber with near-zero toe is a solid daily baseline.

Will an alignment fix my steering pull or vibration?
Often, yes—but we also check tires, wheels, bearings, and suspension wear so we’re not masking issues.

How often should I align my JDM vehicle?
At least annually or every 12,000–15,000 km, and any time you change suspension or notice uneven wear.

Ready for a Wheel Alignment?

Pre-Alignment Checklist:

Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:

  • Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
  • Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
  • Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
  • Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
  • Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
  • The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
  • If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
  • We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection

Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.

Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.

Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
