TESLA Wheel Alignment FAQ
What are the signs my Tesla needs an alignment?
Common symptoms include pulling to one side, uneven tire wear, a crooked steering wheel, or reduced Autopilot performance.
How often should I align my Tesla?
We recommend checking alignment every 12,000–15,000 km or after hitting curbs, potholes, or completing suspension work.
Can Dale’s align lowered or modified Teslas?
Yes! We specialize in custom alignments for performance setups, including lowered suspensions, wide wheels, and coilovers.
Is alignment different for EVs like Tesla?

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
