Lowered Vehicle Wheel Alignment — Surrey, BC

Best Lowered Vehicle Wheel Alignment in Surrey

Lowering changes suspension geometry, tire wear, steering feel and alignment range. Dale's Auto Service aligns lowered cars, trucks and performance builds with coilovers, lowering springs, camber arms, air suspension and custom suspension setups.

We can work from OEM specifications, your preferred specifications or a custom street/performance target based on how the vehicle is actually used.

Why Lowered Cars Need a Specialist

Lower ride height changes more than appearance.

Lowering alters camber, caster, toe, roll-centre relationships and available suspension travel. The alignment needs to account for the parts installed, actual ride height, tire and wheel setup, and your driving goals. The current page also emphasizes custom specs for daily driving, performance street, track/autocross, stance, drift, coilovers and camber-arm tuning.

Daily Street

Balanced for straight tracking, predictable handling and reasonable tire life.

Performance Street

Sharper response and grip while keeping the car practical for regular road use.

Track / Autocross

Custom geometry where the hardware allows, based on the vehicle and intended use.

Stance Builds

Camber-conscious setups with toe correction to reduce unnecessary tire wear.

Drift Setups

Alignment targets can be tailored around steering response, stability and tire behaviour.

Air Suspension

Measured at the correct driving height so the alignment matches how the car is actually driven.

What We Measure & Adjust

Complete alignment geometry for lowered vehicles.

Front and rear camber
Caster optimization
Toe-in / toe-out correction
Thrust-angle measurement
Ride-height evaluation
Coilover and suspension setup review
Camber and toe arm adjustment
Wheel, tire and clearance evaluation

Our Lowered Alignment Process

Set up around the car, not forced into a generic number.

STEP 01

Review the Build

We review ride height, suspension parts, wheel/tire fitment and your driving goals.

STEP 02

Pre-Alignment Inspection

Steering, suspension, bushings, bearings, tires and adjustment points are checked first.

STEP 03

Set the Geometry

Camber, caster, toe and thrust angle are adjusted using available factory and aftermarket adjustment points.

STEP 04

Road Test & Report

We verify steering feel and tracking and review the alignment results with you.

Performance & Custom Options

More than a standard wheel alignment.

Coilover installation & setup
Camber kit installation
Corner balancing depending on setup
Performance suspension upgrades
Ride-height fine-tuning
Custom street / track specifications

Pre-Alignment Checklist

Please make sure the vehicle is ready to be aligned.

Steering and suspension must be safe and in proper working condition.
Front tie rods cannot be seized; we do not use heat to free them.
Ball joints, bushings and tie rods must not have excessive wear or play.
Wheel bearings must not be loose or worn and shocks/struts must not be leaking.
Tires must be safe for driving and the vehicle must run under its own power.
Recently restored or modified vehicles should have prior work checked and torqued correctly.
Inspection before alignment

We proceed with alignment once the vehicle passes the pre-alignment inspection. If components fail inspection, there is a charge for the inspection because technician time has already been invested. If you do not know the condition of the steering or suspension, request an inspection first.

Lowered cars need the right setup.

Coilovers, springs, air ride and adjustable arms can create geometry that a basic alignment does not address. We inspect the vehicle first, measure what is actually happening and set the alignment around the build.

Lowered Vehicle Alignment FAQ

Common questions before your appointment.

Do lowered cars need a special alignment?

Yes. Lowering changes suspension geometry and can create camber and toe changes that affect tire wear, stability and handling.

How often should a lowered vehicle be aligned?

At least annually is a reasonable check, and anytime ride height, suspension parts or wheel/tire fitment changes, or when abnormal tire wear or pulling appears.

Can you align coilovers, camber arms and air suspension?

Yes. These are among the modified suspension setups this service is designed for.

What alignment specifications do you use?

Depending on the vehicle and available adjustment range, we can work from OEM specifications, your requested specifications or a custom setup based on street or performance use.

Do I need adjustable camber arms?

Sometimes. Lowering can create negative camber beyond factory adjustment range. We inspect and measure first before recommending additional hardware.
