How Differential Problems Are Diagnosed
A differential allows the driven wheels to turn at different speeds while transferring power through the driveline. Rear-wheel-drive vehicles commonly have a rear differential; many AWD and 4WD vehicles also have a front differential or electronically controlled driveline components.
