What is the most common Kia engine problem?

Many 2011–2019 models with the 2.4L Theta II engine experience bearing wear and oil consumption issues.

Do Kia engines require special maintenance?

Yes. Regular oil changes using correct viscosity are critical to prevent engine failure.

Are Kia SUVs expensive to repair?

Most repairs are affordable if caught early. Suspension and brake wear are common maintenance items.

How often should I service my Kia?

Every 6,000–8,000 km for oil service depending on driving habits.

Is it better to go to a dealer or independent shop?

A trusted independent auto repair shop often provides better pricing, personalized service, and equal diagnostic capability.

I have had repeated problems with the DEF system . I went looking for a service center where I could have a conversation about my vehicle with an informed person at the front desk. I found it at Dales.

I waited a year to see if there would be problems with a timing belt kit install on a Sequoia. There are none and the Truck runs great, that s why I gave 5 Stars. I would go back.

  Excellent service.

They’re very professional and would always recommend them, the diagnosis was accurate and fast.
It was a transmission failure therefore I needed a replacement, which they delivered at a timely manner, despite the amount of work involved.

Great work and quality.

A+++. I would highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced at Dale’s. Jameson and his team run an honest shop with fair prices, and the tech’s will treat your car as if it was their own. I’ve taken numerous vehicles to Dale’s over the years and have never had a poor experience.

Yesterday morning as I prepared to leave my home, my car sputtered to start. I drove to Dale's and thankfully my car could get booked in to check the source of the problem. Within 15 minutes, I was called to advise me that I needed a new battery. Within two hours my car was ready for pickup. I have been a customer for many years and I have always received friendly, informed and timely service.
