Just got a CORSA Sport cat-back exhaust installed on my Cadillac Escalade at Dales Auto Service. The exhaust sounds amazing aggressive, and clean without being too much. The install was done professionally and everything came out perfect. Really happy with the service and the final result. Highly recommend Dales Auto Service!

I only trust dales for a proper assessment of anything that is wrong with my truck. I had gone to the dealer a week before and the amount of things they missed was shocking. They really do take the time to give a proper report and provide the correct and full diagnosis the first time . Highly recommend dales to everyone.

My wife had obtained two estimates on her Subaru to get bering work done which seemed a bit high and work that was not required was included in both. I suggested she try Dale’s and she was at their quick response and price. The work was performed by Dale’s to her complete satisfaction. We will both be getting our work done there in the future. Happy customers, Elfie & Gary

Had a issue with my car after I lowered it and added a few other parts. I needed to get it done asap because i had my dads celebration of life fast approaching and needed it fixed asap. I was able to get it in rite away and they were able to find the issue, install some parts I had and get the alignment done all before my trip. After the work was done the techs that fixed it spent a few mins telling me what they had to do to get it fixed and suggestions on other things I could do to help with a bit of rubbing i was having. Friendly staff and quality work.

Fluid Leak Repair in Langley

Best Fluid Leak Repair in Langley Near You

Looking for the best fluid leak repair in Langley? Dale’s Auto Service provides trusted auto service and repair in Langley for all makes and models. If your vehicle is leaking oil, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, or differential fluid, our experienced team can diagnose the source and repair it properly.

If you are searching for the best mechanic near you for fluid leak repair in Langley, our team is here to help.

Complete Auto Service and Repair for Fluid Leaks

Fluid leaks can come from many different systems in your vehicle. Some leaks are obvious, while others are hidden and only show up as stains on your driveway, warning lights, smoke, burning smells, or low fluid levels.

We repair leaks involving:

  • Engine oil leaks
  • Coolant leaks
  • Radiator leaks
  • Transmission fluid leaks
  • Brake fluid leaks
  • Power steering fluid leaks
  • Differential fluid leaks
  • Transfer case leaks
  • Fuel leaks
  • Washer fluid leaks
  • Hydraulic system leaks

Our technicians inspect seals, hoses, gaskets, pans, fittings, lines, reservoirs, water pumps, radiators, valve covers, oil filter housings, drain plugs, and other leak-prone components to identify the exact source.

Common Signs You May Need Fluid Leak Repair

If you notice any of the following, it may be time to book a fluid leak inspection:

  • Spots or puddles under your vehicle
  • Burning smell while driving
  • Smoke from under the hood
  • Low fluid warning lights
  • Overheating engine
  • Difficulty steering
  • Poor braking performance
  • Rough shifting or transmission slipping
  • Repeated need to top up fluids
  • Unusual engine or drivetrain noises

A leak may start small, but it rarely stays that way. Fixing it early can help prevent costly engine, transmission, cooling system, or brake repairs.

Why Fluid Leak Repair Matters

Your vehicle depends on properly sealed systems to lubricate, cool, and protect critical components. When fluid escapes, parts can overheat, wear prematurely, or fail completely.

Timely fluid leak repair helps:

  • Protect your engine and transmission
  • Prevent overheating
  • Maintain safe braking
  • Keep steering smooth and responsive
  • Prevent drivetrain damage
  • Improve reliability
  • Reduce long-term repair costs

At Dale’s Auto Service, we do not just wipe off the leak and send you away. We identify the source, explain the repair, and provide professional service you can trust.

Book Fluid Leak Repair in Langley Today

Transmission dales auto service

Power Steering & Automatic Transmission fluid:

Power steering fluid: This can be red, reddish-brown, or brown if it is old. It’s thin in consistency, with an oily feel. It can smell like burnt marshmallows. Your mechanic can inspect your power steering system.

Automatic transmission fluid: This also starts out red when new, then progressively turns reddish-brown as it wears and the miles pile up. It feels oily and slick, and thinner than your engine oil. It will smell like petroleum. If you find this, a transmission inspection is in order, especially if you notice other signs of a transmission problem, like delayed shifting when the engine is cold.

Transmission dales auto service

Coolant & Auto Transmission Fluid

Coolant: This can be an indicator that there is rust in your cooling system, and the rust particles have mixed in with the coolant.

Coolant feels slimy and has a sweet odor. The top cause of serious engine damage is loss of coolant.

If your car consistently loses fluid, contact your repair facility immediately.

Have your cooling system inspected.

Automatic transmission fluid: This can also turn an orange-ish color as it ages. A mechanic can inspect your transmission to confirm.

Coolant dales auto service

Coolant

Coolant: This comes in many fluorescent colors, and can leak from many places throughout your cooling system.

Coolant has a sweet odor and a slimy texture. Losing coolant will lead to overheating if not addressed, and if the engine overheats, you can be left stranded and with a huge repair bill.

An inspection of your cooling system can identify the source of the leak.

Windshield washer dales auto service

Windshield Washer Fluid

Windshield washer fluid: This is thin and watery, and smells like window cleaner. It can come in other colors, including green.

Check to see if your washer fluid reservoir is cracked, or have a technician look at its seals and lines.

Yellow brake fluid dales auto service

Brake Fluid

Brake fluid: This hydraulic fluid starts out as light yellow, then gets progressively darker over time and can end up dark brown if it’s not maintained. Brake fluid will feel oily to the touch, is very slippery, and may smell like fish oil.

IMPORTANT: If you find this, it isn’t safe to drive your car. Instead, get it to a mechanic, where the brake system can be inspected. Brake lines or other parts may need repair or replacement.

Brown black engine oil dales auto service

Engine Oil

Engine oil: This starts out as a light brown shade when new, then turns darker brown over time, eventually becoming nearly black.

This is after picking up dirt and byproducts of combustion as it circulates through the engine over thousands of miles.

Engine oil has a distinctive smell (check your engine dipstick to get a whiff and compare), and feels thick and slippery to the touch.

Water gasoline dales auto service

Engine Oil

Water: This fluid looks and feels like … water! It’s likely the result of condensation draining from your air conditioner, and is no cause for alarm.

Gasoline: You can best detect gasoline by its distinctive odor, not its texture.

IMPORTANT: If you detect a gasoline leak, it’s unsafe to drive your vehicle. Call your mechanic for advice on how to proceed.
