How do I know when my Subaru needs brakes?

Do Subaru rotors always need replacement with pads?
Not automatically. Rotor thickness, surface condition, corrosion
and wear should be measured before deciding whether they remain usable.
Why are my Subaru brakes wearing unevenly?

concerns can cause one pad or wheel to wear faster than another.
Can a wheel bearing cause an ABS light?
