Track & Performance Wheel Alignment — Surrey, BC
Track & Performance Wheel Alignment Setup in Surrey
Performance alignment is about much more than getting the numbers into the green. Dale's Auto Service can set camber, caster, toe and thrust angle around how the vehicle is actually driven — street, autocross, time attack, track days or aggressive performance use.
We work with lowered vehicles, coilovers, adjustable control arms, camber plates, toe links, wider wheels and tires, performance suspension and custom alignment targets.
Performance Alignment Setup
Geometry tuned around how the car is used.
A track or performance setup may intentionally use alignment targets outside ordinary factory street specifications. The goal can shift toward grip, turn-in, stability, tire temperature management and predictable balance rather than maximum street-tire life.
Performance Street
Sharper turn-in and improved response while keeping the setup practical for regular road use.
Autocross
Alignment can be tailored for quick transient response, front-end grip and predictable rotation.
Track Days
Camber and toe targets can be set to help manage loaded-corner grip, stability and tire wear.
Time Attack
More aggressive geometry may be appropriate where maximum response and cornering grip are the priority.
Drift
Front caster, camber and toe can be tuned around steering response, self-centering and intended handling balance.
Dual-Purpose Cars
We can help find a compromise between street drivability, tire life and occasional track use.
What We Measure & Adjust
Performance geometry with the full setup in mind.
Our Track Alignment Process
Measure first. Set targets second. Adjust accurately.
Review the Build
We review suspension components, ride height, wheels, tires and the way the car is used.
Pre-Alignment Inspection
Steering, suspension, bearings, bushings and adjustment points are checked before setup.
Choose Targets
We work from your requested specs, known baseline targets or a practical street/track setup.
Align & Verify
Camber, caster, toe and thrust angle are adjusted, then steering-centre and tracking are verified.
Typical Performance Setups
Different goals require different compromises.
Street Performance
Moderate negative camber and controlled toe settings can improve turn-in and grip without making the vehicle unpleasant to drive every day.
Track-Focused
More aggressive camber and toe targets may help cornering grip and tire-temperature control, but can increase tire wear and reduce street comfort.
Lowered / Coilover Cars
Ride height changes alignment range and suspension geometry. Adjustable arms or camber plates may be needed to reach the desired setup.
Wide Wheel / Tire Packages
We consider clearance, offset, tire width and suspension travel when setting geometry on performance wheel and tire packages.
If your tuner, suspension manufacturer or race shop has supplied preferred alignment specifications, bring them with you. If not, tell us how the car is used and we can discuss a sensible starting point based on the available adjustment range.

Track & Performance Alignment FAQ
Common questions before your appointment.
Can you align a car to custom specifications?
Yes. If the vehicle has the necessary adjustment range, we can work from customer-supplied targets or a practical performance-oriented setup.
Do track alignment settings wear tires faster?
They can. More aggressive camber and toe may improve performance but can increase tire wear during normal street driving.
Can you align coilovers and camber plates?
Yes. We work with coilovers, camber plates, adjustable control arms, toe links and other common performance suspension hardware.
Should I align the car before or after changing ride height?
After. Final ride height should be set first because changing ride height can alter camber and toe.
Do you align street cars that only see occasional track use?
Yes. A dual-purpose setup can balance everyday drivability with improved performance for occasional track or autocross use.
