Lifted Truck & SUV Wheel Alignment — Surrey, BC
Best Lifted Truck & SUV Wheel Alignment in Surrey
Lift kits, leveling kits, larger tires and aftermarket control arms change suspension geometry. Dale's Auto Service provides precision alignment for lifted trucks, SUVs, 4x4s, overland builds and off-road vehicles in Surrey.
We align Ford, RAM, GMC, Chevrolet, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep, Bronco, 4Runner, Land Cruiser and other modified vehicles using the actual lift height, tire size, suspension components and intended use.
Why Lifted Vehicles Need a Different Alignment
Factory specs do not always tell the whole story after a lift.
Spacers, coilovers, aftermarket upper control arms, larger wheels and tires, long-travel components and altered ride height can change caster, camber, toe, scrub radius, steering return and tire clearance.
Daily Driving
Set up for straight tracking, predictable steering and longer tire life on the street.
Towing & Hauling
Alignment targets can account for stability and steering feel on trucks regularly used under load.
Off-Road / Overland
Geometry can be tailored around lift height, articulation, larger tires and off-road suspension components.
Aftermarket UCAs
Upper control arms can restore alignment range and help recover caster after lifting.
Wide Wheels & Tires
We review tire size, wheel offset, caster clearance and rub points as part of the setup.
Custom Builds
Modified steering and suspension setups require measurement and adjustment based on the actual vehicle.
What We Measure & Adjust
Lifted-specific geometry, not just a basic toe adjustment.
Our Lifted Alignment Process
Inspect, measure, adjust, verify.
Build Review
We review lift height, suspension hardware, wheel/tire setup and how you use the vehicle.
Suspension Inspection
Control arms, ball joints, bushings, tie rods, steering and lift-kit components are checked first.
Wheel & Tire Check
Tire size, wheel offset, clearance and possible rub points are reviewed.
Custom Alignment
Camber, caster, toe, thrust angle and steering centre are adjusted within the available range.
Road Test
Tracking, steering feel and return-to-centre are verified after adjustment.

Pre-Alignment Checklist
Please make sure the vehicle is ready to be aligned.
We proceed with alignment once the vehicle passes the pre-alignment inspection. If components fail inspection, there is a charge for the inspection because technician time has already been invested. If you are unsure of the vehicle's condition, request a steering and suspension inspection first.

Lifted Truck & SUV Alignment FAQ
Common questions before your appointment.
Do lifted vehicles need special alignment specs?
Yes. Lift kits alter suspension geometry, and the vehicle may need caster, camber and toe targets that account for the lift height and installed components.
How often should a lifted truck or SUV be aligned?
Check alignment after installing a lift, larger tires, control arms or steering/suspension parts, and whenever the vehicle develops unusual tire wear, pulling or wandering.
Can you align trucks with 33-, 35- or 37-inch tires?
Yes. We regularly work with oversized tires and aftermarket wheel packages, subject to the vehicle fitting safely on the alignment equipment.
Can alignment help steering wander on a lifted truck?
It can when the cause is alignment-related, such as insufficient caster or incorrect toe. Worn or loose steering and suspension parts must be repaired first.
Do you align aftermarket upper control arms and leveling kits?
Yes. We work with aftermarket UCAs, leveling kits, lift kits, coilovers and other modified truck and SUV suspension setups.
