What is walnut shell blasting and is it safe for my engine?

Yes! It’s a non-abrasive cleaning method using crushed walnut shells to safely remove carbon deposits from intake valves.

How often should walnut blasting be done?

Typically every 80,000–100,000 km depending on the engine type and driving habits.

Does walnut blasting improve fuel economy?

Absolutely. It restores proper air/fuel flow, improving fuel efficiency, power, and throttle response.

How long does the service take?

Most walnut blasting services can be completed within 2–3 hours.

Is walnut blasting better than chemical cleaners?

Yes. Chemical cleaners can't reach the intake valves in direct-injection engines. Walnut blasting is the most effective method.

I have had repeated problems with the DEF system . I went looking for a service center where I could have a conversation about my vehicle with an informed person at the front desk. I found it at Dales.

I waited a year to see if there would be problems with a timing belt kit install on a Sequoia. There are none and the Truck runs great, that s why I gave 5 Stars. I would go back.

It was a transmission failure therefore I needed a replacement, which they delivered at a timely manner, despite the amount of work involved.

A+++. I would highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced at Dale’s. Jameson and his team run an honest shop with fair prices, and the tech’s will treat your car as if it was their own. I’ve taken numerous vehicles to Dale’s over the years and have never had a poor experience.

Yesterday morning as I prepared to leave my home, my car sputtered to start. I drove to Dale's and thankfully my car could get booked in to check the source of the problem. Within 15 minutes, I was called to advise me that I needed a new battery. Within two hours my car was ready for pickup. I have been a customer for many years and I have always received friendly, informed and timely service.
