Why Volkswagen Owners in Maple Ridge Get Alignments Done at Dale’s
Corrects pulling, drifting, and uneven tire wear
Even small alignment angles can cause big tire wear. A proper alignment helps your VW track straight and protects your investment in tires.
Better steering feel and stability
A straight, properly aligned Volkswagen feels tight and predictable—especially in rain, highway speeds, and rough road conditions.
Helps prevent suspension and steering wear
Misalignment can stress components like tie rods, control arms, bushings, wheel bearings, and steering racks over time.
Precision matters on Volkswagens
Volkswagen suspension geometry can be sensitive—especially after impacts, potholes, curb bumps, or suspension work. Our alignment process is designed to be accurate and repeatable.
Signs Your Volkswagen Needs a Wheel Alignment
- Vehicle pulls left or right
- Steering wheel is crooked when driving straight
- Uneven tire wear (inside edge, outside edge, cupping)
- VW feels loose, wandering, or unstable
- You recently had new tires installed
- You’ve had suspension or steering repairs
- You hit a pothole or curb
Our Volkswagen Alignment Service
4-Wheel Alignment (Recommended for Most Volkswagens)
Most VW models benefit from a full four-wheel alignment, ensuring front and rear angles work together for proper tracking and tire wear.

Pre-Alignment Checklist:
Before bringing your car in for alignment, please ensure the following:
- Confirm that the steering and suspension are in safe, proper working condition.
- Check that the front tie rods are not seized, as we do not use heat to free them up.
- Inspect ball joints, bushings, and tie rods for signs of wear or play.
- Ensure bearings are not loose or worn, and there are no leaking struts or shocks.
- Verify the steering box for minor play, and ensure tires are safe for driving.
- The vehicle must be capable of running under its own power.
- If the vehicle underwent restoration, ensure all work has been double-checked by the facility/person responsible. If unsure, book a steering/suspension re-torque before the alignment appointment.
- We will proceed with the alignment once the vehicle passes our inspection
Please note, should any components fail inspection, there will be a charge for the inspection as our technicians invest time in this process. We aim to avoid wasting your time and money by addressing these issues upfront.
Please request a steering and suspension inspection if you do not know the condition of your vehicle.
Thorough inspections and prioritize safety to prevent any future issues.
